Indeed, I think the interface of the new version of Etrip is much clearer than the previous one. Now, I understand that I could check the affliations from the sorting of prices, where I could see how the affiliate fees come from. (45% of the totale revenue) However, I still do not figure out how Etrip could generate direct revenues from its services (40% of the total revenue), since the new Etrip site only provides "selling travel insurance" service and other nonprofitable information services.

Shirleyo, look at the insurance sale as an example for a service. I mentioned in my blog post that the model includes: a set of complimentary products such as service for booking, travel insurance sale or pre-sale of airport services.
You may be interested to plan which type of services can compliment such model in order to generate these needed revenues. It was part of our own business plan.
